Minto Group has applied for the development to construct a mixed-use building at Front Street West and Bathurst Street to be known as Minto Westside.   This condominium project will accommodate retail space on the ground floor including a grocery store along with 1200 proposed residential units above. The proposed access to parking and 4 loading docks will be from Front Street West and Bathurst Street with three levels of underground parking both for residents and retail use.

There will be 4 phases in total with phase 1 and 2 launching soon of fall 2014.  The building will range in height from 8 storeys to about 18 storeys with about 1 acre of courtyard space at the centre of it all for residents to enjoy. The tallest portion of the development will be the proposed 18 storey at the southeast corner of the site with a total of 322 units.  The proposed 16 storey tower will be located on the southwest corner of the site with 322 units.  There will also be an 8 storey streetwall between the 18 and 16 storey towers.  The northwest corner will hold the 17 storeys on the site with 214 units.   There will also be a 12 storey building on the northeast side of the sitewith 244 units.

The proposed residential condo units will consist of 242 studio units, 747 1-bedroom units, 87 2-bedroom units and 124 3-bedroom units. There will be a total of about 701 parking spaces which 500 of those will be for residents.  There will also be about 1225 bicycle parking spaces and 970 of those will be for the residents of the building.

There will be a 24 hour concierge at each tower with about 30,000 sq. ft. of retail space. The second floor will hold the proposed amenity space for residents.   It will include a rooftop pool and lounge area, a 7,000 sq. ft. gym, indoor and outdoor party spaces. There is also two furnished guest suites available.

Near the financial district for work and the entertainment district for play.  Who can ask for anything more?
